Teresa Gavin
SolicitorA graduate of University College Cork, BCL (Hons) in 1987, Teresa was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in March 1991 after serving her traineeship with Ronan Daly Jermyn Solicitors in Cork City from 1988 to 1990. In 1991 Teresa became in house Solicitor to the Irish Travel Agents Association in Dublin specializing in all areas of Travel Law and served on a lobby group which lobbied the Department of Transport on behalf of the Travel Industry in Ireland on the implementation of EC Directive (90/314/EEC) on Package Travel. Package Holidays and Package Tours prior to its implementation in Ireland as the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act, 1995.
In 1993, Teresa established her own practice Gavin Burke Solicitors, in the legal district adjacent to the Four Courts at Inns Court in Winetavern Street, Dublin 8 and has been practising in the same locality ever since. During this time Teresa has gained a reputation amongst colleagues, clients, and the community as a strong advocate in the local District and Circuit Courts specializing mainly in civil litigation and family law cases. Teresa has sat on the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association Family Law Committee for several years and is a member of the Family Lawyers Association.
Teresa specialises in all areas of General Practice Law including residential and commercial conveyancing, personal injury cases, wills and probate, with a focus on Family law.
Michael Gowie
TechnologyMichael is a full-stack software developer and project leader specialising in the creation of web and cloud solutions using the .NET platform. While working mostly in the financial industry, skills include delivery of software systems that need to be highly available, secure, and fast.
In developing ideas from conception to completion, Michael will offer responsibility for the entire development process including a strong understanding of the business domain and the application of the technical details for a .NET platform.
Michael also works as a project leader, being responsible for both the development team and the delivery.
