We may bill you for costs at intervals during your case or transaction. We will usually do this when cases or transactions are likely to take a long time to finish. Disagreements about bills If there is a disagreement about any bill we send you, we will try to resolve the matter by agreement with you. If the matter cannot be resolved, we may have to stop acting for you. If the matter is not resolved, you then have the right to refer the bill for review by a court official called a Taxing Master, or to make a complaint to the Law Society about the bill.
